“The International Association, ACISJF – IN VIA, aims to promote the integral development of youth, especially young women, outside their family environment” (ACISJF-IN VIA statutes).

ACISJF-IN VIA provides support and shelter to young people, regardless of their origin, while respecting their culture and religion, who find themselves in vulnerable situations, sometimes even at great risk.

Today, the Association is active in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Central America, and South America.

In each country, it establishes safe spaces and seeks appropriate means to fulfill the mission of the Association, always adapting to the needs and urgent challenges of the local context.

Since 1895,

when it was founded in Freiburg, Germany, the association has expanded in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America

In 1974:

ACISJF obtained consultative status with the Council of Europe, which has now become participatory status.

In 1985:

As an NGO, our consultative status with UNESCO has now become consultative status.
